Western Digital My Passport

This has to be the king in the land of the portable storage devices.  The Western Digital My Passport Essential 250GB USB Portable Hard Drive does what it says on the tin (well most of it).  It stores 250Gb, it’s a hard drive and its certainly Essential!!  It could well be western and I don’t think it will get you into another country, but other than that it won’t let you down!   We’ve been using the range of Western Digital passport products for years and they’ve never let us down, amazing product at an amazing price.

Installation couldn’t be easier, just plug and play all the way!  No CD’s to install, no manuals to read and no time wasted banging you head on the wall, it just works!  It’s powered by the USB bus so now power is needed, all you need is the USB cable it comes with, happy storage days!

It fits easily in your pocket but it certainly packs a punch, 250Gb or punch in fact.  What will they think of next, they’ll probably bring out something crazy like a computer the size of a mobile phone.

So not only do you get the sleekest device on the market, the clever bods at Western have also devised some synchronisation software that will let you easily back up your data. Dead clever.

So if you haven’t got one, get one, and if you have got one, get another!   Don’t forget you can’t call data a bit of data unless it’s backed up in at least THREE locations.
